Who better? After all, he created his own reality for more than twenty years and all his clients were happy. The country needs such talent as his; up until the very end his performance pleased everyone, and he wasn’t held back by any of the political shibboleths like accountability and transparency that bedevil poor Tim Geithner. If he could have handed his business over to someone else a few months before the collapse like politicians do after they’ve raped the treasury and burdened later generations with the payments, he’d still be accounted a genius and his era a golden age.
